Not boring Choir. The East - is a delicate matter
In the concert season 2023-2024 the State Great Concert Hall named after Salikh Saydashev offers concert programs of the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan "Not boring choir" subscription.
Throughout its 15-year history our choir has been proving that choral singing is a wonderful opportunity to create together, creative and not boring at all. It is no coincidence that even the audience sings in the choir's concerts! Today the State Chamber Choir of Tatarstan is recognized as one of the leading choirs in Russia; in 2022 it won the All-Russian "Battle of the Choirs" and repeatedly represented Tatarstan on Red Square in Moscow.
The new concert season will be dedicated to music of all genres and styles; anyone can find what they like best: works by Russian and foreign composers, Tatar national classics, songs by peoples of the world, as well as modern electronic, popular and even rock music. The choir is not afraid of musical experimentation and organically combines academic traditions and bold innovations in its repertoire.
The "Not boring choir" subscription includes six musical programs from the best works of the State Chamber Choir's extensive repertoire:
October 27, 2023 - "Film, Film, Film" concert, dedicated to the most beloved and popular music of domestic and foreign cinematography;
November 17, 2023 - in the concert "East is a delicate matter" will sound music of eastern peoples, musical folklore and songs about the East;
December 22, 2023 - a festive New Year's Eve concert "New songs about the main thing;
On February 16, 2024, we will dedicate an unusual "Game of Thrones" concert to music from computer games and fantasy films;
On March 6, 2024, at the concert "Take Care of Women" on the eve of International Women's Day, the choir will congratulate all women with the most beautiful holiday;
On April 19 the subscription will conclude with the concert program "Ethno We", where the music of the peoples of the world will be performed, dedicated to spring as a time of hope and joy.
